Good food in a great location. But they denied that I had made a reservation ( I had , via Fork) and the welcome was rather brusque.

Great restaurant, excellent food. The male writers was super. We will recommend this place.

We had lunch with friends on Sunday, after a walk in the city centre (the restaurant is very centrally located). We had some antipasti and primi, all which were great! The service was quick, helpful and very polite, despite being a very busy day for the restaurant.

I&rsquo;ve left a constructive review on Maps saying the ambiance and service were good, but the food itself not so much, given the spaghetti were not cooked enough and another pasta dish was on the contrary overcooked (I&rsquo;ll let go the 30min wait between antipasto and primo). I only received an answer from the owner saying I do not know how to appreciate Italian cuisine. I do recognize however when pasta is crunchy when you eat it. To conclude, don&rsquo;t take pasta there.

Limited menu but enormous wine list of mostly reasonably priced wines. The service was attentive but leisurely. The food was of excellent quality.

I was treated with the sweetest, most attentive service ever. I let the staff know, ahead of arriving, that I was a foreigner and that I wasn&rsquo;t very confident with my Italian. They were incredibly patient, kind and accommodating with me - which really helped me to feel less alone as an Australian in Parma! I&rsquo;ve since been back 3 times with my friends and we all agree that it&rsquo;s the best place to go! Thank you so much for helping me feel more comfortable in Italy - you guys really are the best! 👏👏👏

Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic selection of food including several vegetarian options which was much appreciated.

If you have the opportunity to have a meal here it&#39;s one you don&#39;t want to miss.  Really.  I&#39;ve enjoyed the experience three times in the past twelve years with the most recent involving a significant detour to Parma JUST to do so again (there are many wonderful reasons to spend a lot more time in Parma but we didn&#39;t unfortunately have that option this last time around). The menu is not particularly large but what they do there they do beautifully. Dishes we&#39;ve enjoyed  have been simply and authentically prepared with meals consistently remembered as &quot;best of the trip&quot;. Try try try to overcome any misgivings you may have and to sample the specialty of the house which is the tartara dello Zingaro.  It is not unlike a (beef) steak tartare but there is a subtle delicate sweetness to the meat that&#39;s like nothing else I&#39;ve ever had. This is a dish you&#39;re not likely to find anywhere else you travel and one I think you&#39;ll recall as being very special.  Pasta dishes are also consistently excellent. The restaurant itself is comfortable and not the least bit pretentious. Patrons in my experience appear to be almost entirely local. There are I&#39;m guessing no more than 10 to 12 tables and making an advance reservation, especially for dinner, would be a very very good idea. The staff is multigenerational and the owner and waiters alike have always been warmly helpful (and patient) with me in providing menu explanations and suggestions.
